There are many physical, and mental health benefits to dancing, but one of the things we enjoy most about dancing, and that keeps our students coming back, is that it’s fun!

As a family owned and operated business, we see our students as an extension of our family – the Dancemore Family.

We introduced you to some of our instructors in previous blogs, and we would also like to introduce you to some other members of our Dancemore Family – our students. Which is why we’ll be doing a series of blogs posts focusing on our students.

Our hope is that these blogs will be an opportunity for students, and instructors, to get to know each other a little better and to showcase the wonderful family that we have!

Today we introduce you to…

John and Louise Netherlands take private lessons at our Fourways Studio.

Dancing was something they always wanted to do, and their wedding provided them with the impetus they needed to start lessons. Now it’s a date night once a week that multitasks as exercise as well.

John says his favourite dance, when he’s watching professionals dance, is the Cha Cha. Louise loves the slow and sensual nature of the Rhumba

This couple has many interests and hobbies. Louise loves yoga, theatre, music, art, food and building houses (preferably her own). John is into cooking, drawing, painting, soccer, travel and heraldry.

See you on the dance floor, John and Louise!
