There are many physical, and mental health benefits to dancing, but one of the things we enjoy most about dancing, and that keeps our students coming back, is that it’s fun!

As a family owned and operated business, we see our students as an extension of our family – the Dancemore Family.

We introduced you to some of our instructors in previous blogs, and we would also like to introduce you to some other members of our Dancemore Family – our students. Which is why we’ll be doing a series of blogs posts focusing on our students.

Our hope is that these blogs will be an opportunity for students, and instructors, to get to know each other a little better and to showcase the wonderful family that we have!

Today we introduce you to…

Tracy and Howard Fox attend our Intermediate Class at our Bedfordview Studio.

Tracy, by her own admission, is an absolute fangirl of Strictly Come Dancing (British version). So, Howard, cleverly thought that dancing lessons would make a fine Christmas present.

Dancing is just one of this couple’s hobbies. Tracy enjoys weekly art classes, loves reading and has self-published in the Contemporary Romance genre under her pseudonym Lacy Muircastle.

Howard is adept at lock picking courtesy of The Lock Picking Lawyer on YouTube and is currently learning to play the piano. He’s written two, currently unpublished, books and is entering his novels into début novel competitions.

They live in Lambton, Germiston, and enjoy dancing because it is fun, and pushes the boundaries of what they think they’re capable of. As a bonus, they’ve made some really great friends.

Howard particularly enjoys the Slow Waltz because it’s one of the more intuitive of the dances, and he actually feels like he’s dancing. The Samba speaks to Tracy. She says,” it is not easy to get right, but it’s really fun when you do.”

See you on the dance floor, Howard and Tracy!
